විනෝදයෙන් ඉංග්රීසි ව්යාපෘතිය පිළිබඳව
- මෙම වෙබ් පිටුව ශ්රී ජයවර්ධනපුර විශ්වවිද්යාලයේ ඉංග්රීසි භාෂා ඉගැන්වීමේ අංශයේ ජ්යෙෂ්ඨ කථිකාචාර්ය ආචාර්ය මධුභාෂිණී දිසානායක රත්නායක විසින් නිර්මාණය කරන ලදි. “විනෝදයෙන් ඉංග්රීසි” ව්යාපෘතියේ සම්පූර්ණ විෂය මාලාව නොමිලේ ලබා ගත හැක.
- මෙය සාදා ඇත්තේ සිංදු හා කතා ඉංග්රීසි භාෂාවෙන් රසවිදීමෙන් ඉංග්රීසි භාෂා ලෝකයට වේදනාවෙන් තොර වූ මගක් ළමයින්ට පාදා දීම සඳහාය.
- මෙම වෙබ් පිටුවට කවි, සිංදු හා කතා වල හඬ පට ද, ශිෂ්ය අත්පොත ද, ගුරු අත්පොත ද ඇතුලත්ය. සියලු දෙයට බාගත කළ හැකි ක්රමයට සාදා ඇත.
- ශිෂ්ය පොත වර්ණවත් රූප සහිතව ඇති නිසා හැකි නම් එහි පිටපතක් ළමයාට පෙරලා බැලීමට හැකිවන සේ මුද්රණය කර ගන්න.
- මෙම සියලු මුද්රිත දේ සිංහල හා දෙමළ භාෂා දෙකෙන්ම කියවිය හැකි නිසා, ඉංග්රීසි නොදන්නා වැඩිහිටියෙකුට උවද තම ළමයින්ට ඉංග්රීසි භාෂාව වෙත යොමුකිරිමට හැකිවනු ඇත. ඉංග්රීසි වචන දැනට නොතේරුනද, සිංහලෙන් හෝ දෙමළෙන් කවියේ හෝ කතාවේ තේරුම දැන ගැනීමට ළමයාට ඉඩ සැලසුවහොත් ඔහුට හෝ ඇයට ඉබේටම කාලයත් සමග ඉංග්රීසි වචනවල තේරුම අවබෝධ කර ගැනිමට අපහසු නොවනු ඇත.
- මෙම විෂය මාලාව තුලින් ඉංග්රීසි භාෂා ලෝකයට අවතීර්ණ වීමට මාර්ගයක් සුලුවෙන් හෝ විවර වන්නේ, ඉංග්රීසි භාෂාව තම ළමා කාලයට අයත් අත්දැකීමක් වීමෙන්ය. මෙම මුල් අත්දැකීම හැකිතාක් ප්රසන්න හා සුන්දර කිරිම අපේ වගකීමකි- මෙමගින් ඉංග්රීසි භාෂාව ඉගෙන ගැනීම ඉදිරි ගමන් මග වඩාත් පහසු වනු ඇත.

வேடிக்கையான ஆங்கில திட்டத்தை பற்றி
- ஸ்ரீ ஜயவர்தனபுர பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ஆங்கில மொழி கற்பித்தல் துறையின் சிரேஷ்ட விரிவுரையாளர் கலாநிதி மதுபாஷினி திஸாநாயக்க ரத்நாயக்கவினால் இந்த இணையப் பக்கத்தை உருவாக்கினார். “வேடிக்கைக்கான ஆங்கிலம்” திட்டத்தின் முழு பாடத்திட்டமும் இலவசமாகக் கிடைக்கும்.
- ஆங்கிலத்தில் பாடல்கள் மற்றும் கதைகளை ரசிப்பதன் மூலம் குழந்தைகளுக்கு ஆங்கில மொழி உலகில் வலியற்ற வழியை வழங்குவதற்காக இது உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- இந்த இணையப் பக்கத்தில் கவிதைகள், பாடல்கள் மற்றும் கதைகளின் ஒலிப்பதிவுகள், மாணவர் கையேடுகள் மற்றும் ஆசிரியர் கையேடுகள் உள்ளன. அனைத்தும் தரவிறக்கம் செய்யப்படுகின்றன.
- மாணவர் புத்தகத்தில் வண்ணமயமான படங்கள் உள்ளன, எனவே முடிந்தால், குழந்தை புரட்டுவதற்கு ஒரு நகலை அச்சிடவும்.
- இந்த அச்சிடப்பட்ட பொருட்கள் அனைத்தும் சிங்களம் மற்றும் தமிழ் ஆகிய இரு மொழிகளிலும் படிக்கக்கூடியதாக இருப்பதால், ஆங்கிலம் தெரியாத பெரியவர் கூட தனது குழந்தைகளுக்கு ஆங்கில மொழியை அறிமுகப்படுத்த முடியும். இந்த நேரத்தில் ஆங்கில சொற்கள் புரியவில்லை என்றாலும், குழந்தைக்கு சிங்களம் அல்லது தமிழில் கவிதை அல்லது கதையின் பொருளை அறிய அனுமதித்தால், அவர் ஆங்கில சொற்களின் அர்த்தத்தை காலப்போக்கில் தானாகவே புரிந்துகொள்வார்.
- இந்த பாடத்திட்டத்தின் மூலம், குழந்தை பருவத்தில் ஆங்கில மொழியின் அனுபவத்தின் மூலம் ஆங்கில மொழியின் உலகில் நுழைவதற்கான வழி திறக்கப்படுகிறது. இந்த ஆரம்ப அனுபவத்தை முடிந்தவரை இனிமையாகவும் சுவாரஸ்யமாகவும் மாற்றுவது நமது பொறுப்பு – இது வழியில் ஆங்கிலம் கற்பதை எளிதாக்கும்.

- This website gives you access to the whole syllabus of the English for Fun Project conceptualized and designed by Dr. Madhubhashini Disanayaka Ratnayake, Senior Lecturer, Department of English Language Teaching, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
- This is designed to give children exposure to the English language through fun and enjoyment and is therefore based on stories, nursery rhymes and songs.
- You can find the audio tracks as well as the PDF of the student book and teacher’s guide book here, all in downloadable format.
- Please feel free to get printouts of the student material, as children will enjoy holding a colorful picture book and it will be useful in making English letters familiar to children.
- As all printable material is available in Sinhala and Tamil as well, an adult who is not proficient in English can still help the children have a chance to acquire this language by telling them the stories and even the rhymes in their native tongue and then getting them to listen to them in English.
- The idea is to give the English language a place in the pleasant memories of childhood and a part of the experience of growing up – so some kind of ownership with it is felt. To give everyone such a chance – when it is limited to a minority in this country – is our responsibility. This will make their advent into formal learning of this language much more pleasant than it probably is now.
