Annual Poson Dharma Deshana 2018 organized by the Library Staff Welfare Society took place on 21 June, 2018 at the main library lobby area. The Dharma Deshana was conducted by Rev. Prof. Medagampitiye Vijithadamma thero, Head, Department of Pali and Buddhist, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Librarian, Dr. N. D. Wijayasundara and academic and non-academic staff members of the library and other departments participated in this religious event.

Library network of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura consists of Main Library and three branch libraries. Which are Medical Library located at the Medical Faculty, University Premises, Technology Library at the Technology Faculty, Pitipana and Engineering Library at the Engineering Faculty, Rathmalana.
